Kaws Snoopy: Be sure to buy the real stuff!

Kaws vinyls world can be tricky and while the Kaws editions now cost a considerable amount you want to be sure that you are spending your hardly earned money on a genuine limited toy that will grow in value, and not a fake, even of good quality.

With a few other dealers and Kaws collectors we realized that there is some very well made fake Snoopy out there, here is out to spot the fakes and distinguish them from the authentic ones (based on our knowledge the 17/09/2018)

Step 1: Weigh your SNOOPY, the fake one will (usually) be lighter than the real one, real one usually weight around 295 grams. But still it seems that some fake now weight around 300 grams.

Step 2: Take a look at the back of the box, low left corner, on the OriginalFake inscription the “e” of the fake one is less clear and bolder
