Mike Lee
Mike Lee is an American artist based in New York. Before joining the world of fine arts, Mike started out in the film and commercial illustration industry. Along the years, he found his own style, creating meticulous and floating scenarios “removing details and simplifying figures and objects to their most basic shape” in a monochrome atmosphere.
His inspiration comes from the people and the spaces that surround him in his daily life.

While the figures are distilled down to rudimentary shapes and ridden of recognizable features, the artist manages to convey two strong characters each with their own specific personality.
