Helmut Newton

Especially well-known for his studies above female nude, Newton is a fundamental German photographer that worked for the most important fashion brands like Chanel, Gianni Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana and important magazines like Vogue and Playboy. His most distinctive feature in his photographs is eroticism, sometimes characterised by sadomasochistic traits. He reached his peak of popularity in 1980 with the revolutionary photographic series “Big Nudes” realised with an excellent photography technique and his distinctive erotic-urban style.
